Toronto, ON  (June 13, 2012) – Toronto’s newest family attraction – Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada – came one step closer toward completion when the first of its 50 giant acrylic panels were installed this morning.

These giant panels, part of the much anticipated aquarium, travelled via land and sea to the Toronto construction site and required special equipment to be hoisted into place. Action took place at 288 Bremner, at the base of the CN Tower. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada will open in July 2013.

See fact sheets below on the acrylic, on Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, and on all of Ripley’s Aquariums.
