Ripley Entertainment looks to tap fast growing Asian markets with launch of New Guinness World Records Attraction

HONG KONG (June 5, 2012) – Ripley Entertainment Inc. a world leader in family entertainment announced the launch of its new Guinness World Records Attractions concept in Asia.

The fun, innovative and interactive new attraction concept, that has been four years in development, combines an exciting and interactive experience based on the world-famous Guinness World Records brand. The interactive attraction will allow visitors to attempt to break and set official world records, making it easier than ever to show off their skills and become a celebrity in one visit!

 Attending the formal launch in Hong Kong today was Sultan Kösen, the world’s tallest man standing at 8 feet 3 inches, who signified the importance that Ripley’s is paying to Asia and to the launch announcement.


“Guinness World Records Attractions is an exciting new development that is sure to appeal to families across Asia,” said Jim Pattison Jr, president of Ripley Entertainment Inc, based in Orlando, Fla., USA.

 Ripley Entertainment Inc. is searching for opportunities to franchise the new Guinness World Records Attraction concept throughout Asia, as well as meet developers and entrepreneurs who have the ideal space for company owned Guinness World Records Attractions.

Each attraction is typically around 2,000 square metres in size and located in a high visibility area with substantial tourist traffic and favourable zoning and signage regulations. The front façade is welcoming, colorful, dynamic and unique.
