NEW YORK CITY (Sept. 7, 2010) – He may only stand 22-inches tall, but Khagendra Thapa Magar, a 17-year-old from Nepal, is living large on his first trip to New York City today.

Khagendra is featured in Ripley’s new book – Believe It or Not! Enter If You Dare! and visited the city today and was the mini-hit in the big apple!

His first stop on Tuesday was Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium in Times Square where he went toe-to-toe during a photo op with an 8’ 11” figure of Robert Wadlow, the world’s tallest man.

He later turned hundreds of heads as he strolled through the heart of Times Square, met a policeman, sat on a horse, and enjoyed his first-ever hot dog. He then visited the 86^th floor observatory of the Empire State Building, dined at Katz’s deli and spent some time at a Buddhist temple.

Khagendra’s can-do attitude and infectious smile lead Ripley Publishing to give him a full-page picture in its latest annual, Enter If You Dare!
