Ripley’s Believe it or Not’s Sideshow Wonders to Entertain Times Square Visitors During the Holiday

NEW YORK CITY, (Dec. 19, 2009) – Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Times Square, where visitors go on the Ultimate Adventure, will be offering free sideshow performances in front of the Odditorium throughout the holiday season.

From fire eating to sword swallowing to the classic Human Blockhead, performers will be performing their incredible skills daily from 12:30 to 7 p.m. every half hour at the bottom and top of each hour beginning December 23through January 3. The odditorium is located at 234 West 43nd Street.

“We are bringing sideshow excitement back to Times Square just like Robert Ripley did more than 60 years ago, and we do it for FREE,” says Albert Cadabra, Ripley’s Sideshow Wonders Human Blockhead and Humble Host. “Visitors to Times Square will be blown away by our variety of amazing acts. Trust me you don’t want to miss this.”

Presentation of the Ripley’s Sideshow Wonders started in New York over 18 months ago and has been entertaining tourists and New Yorkers alike with their death-defying acts. Each act ranges from 5-8 minutes long and will leave you breathless.
